Vinous Antonio Galloni - 01 Feb 12
The 2010 Chambolle-Musigny Les Gruenchers is all red berries, flowers and mint. Refinement and elegance are the hallmarks of the sublime Gruenchers. Firm, yet well-integrated tannins frame the fruit through to the inviting, caressing finish. Today, the Gruenchers looks to be one of the more accessible of these 2010s.

Chambolle-Musigny

Chambolle-Musigny, a prestigious appellation in Burgundy's Côte de Nuits, is renowned for its elegant, aromatic Pinot Noir wines. Known for their finesse and complex aromas of red berries, violets, and earth, these wines are often described as the most "feminine" of Burgundy. The appellation's two Grand Cru vineyards, Bonnes Mares and Musigny, produce highly sought-after wines with depth and ageing potential. Notable producers include Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé, Domaine Georges Roumier, and Domaine Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier, all celebrated for their refined winemaking.
